For the first time, the Sedalia DARE program is offering a $500 college scholarship to graduating seniors from Pettis County who have participated and graduated from DARE.
The scholarship may be applied to college enrollment, books or any other college expenses. Applicants must provide two reference letters, a copy of their high school transcript, a list of current or previous community programs they have participated in and an essay of at least 300 words on the topic, “Why making good decisions will help make me a better citizen.”
