One person is in police custody after a vehicle pursuit Wednesday through Morgan and Miller counties.
According to reports, around 6 p.m. Morgan County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress in the Timberlake Village Estates area in Rocky Mount. As deputies were responding, the suspects left the scene in a dark blue minivan with a loud muffler. A deputy saw the vehicle and attempted to stop it, but suspects refused to slow down and a pursuit began.
