Two people were hospitalized Monday evening after a two-vehicle collision in Pettis County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers reported the accident happened at 6 p.m. on state Route EE, just east of Pinhook Road, as 33-year-old April D. Mallory, of Cole Camp, was pulling out of a driveway and traveled into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by 21-year-old Marty L. Kropf, of Smithton.

Mallory and a passenger in her vehicle, Michael G. Monning, 10, of Houstonia, were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries, according to the Highway Patrol crash report.

The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.

Troopers reported summons were pending in the ongoing crash investigation.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
