Reservations are now being accepted for the Liberty Center Association for the Arts fundraiser “A Midsummer Night’s Soiree.”
The event will be June 22 at the Sedalia Country Club, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 7 p.m.
At 8 p.m. the 2013-14 theatre season will be unveiled along with the announcement of the STAR (Sedalia’s Top Arts Recipient) Award, with a live auction to follow at 8:30 p.m.
Auction items will include pieces by local artists, including the culinary arts, along with themed “swag bags.”
Bags include: Pimp Your Pup, 50 Shades of Gray, Elegant Picnic, and Bag o’ Beauty.
Also up for auction is a pink make-believe suitcase filled with children’s dress up costumes, a Longaberger basket, and more.

Cocktail hour will include live music by Barbara Schrader, Gwendolyn Kappelman, Elizabeth Kehl and Helen Coffelt. Faith Bemiss will share her Midsummer Night poem. There will also be a paper moon photo booth with Kevin Walker as the photographer.
The evening’s master of ceremonies will be Ron Wineinger.
