Elisabeth Pauley, of Odessa, and Anna Sleeper, of Blackburn, were awarded $1,000 scholarships from the I-70 Medical Center Education Foundation, based in Sweet Springs.

Pauley is pursuing a degree in nursing at the Research College of Nursing in Kansas City; Sleeper is pursuing a degree in radiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
