Democrat salutes: Washington Elementary School students

Washington Elementary School students and staff held a fundraising walk March 22 on behalf of Brooklyn Ditzfeld, who has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Brooklyn is the daughter of Washington teacher Kevin Ditzfeld. The students’ goal was to raise $450 by bringing in spare change through the month of March. They ended up raising $840.
