Democrat Salutes State Fair Community College

Davis Multipurpose Center; Rowdy Roadrunner; and Darren Pannier, right, director of the Multipurpose Center, present a donation of $2,651.50 for the Susan O’Brien Fischer Cancer Center to Lisa Church, director of the Bothwell Regional Health Center Foundation, on Feb. 20 at the center. The SFCC Athletics Department donation represents the proceeds from the Roadrunners’ “Think Pink, Bleed Blue” event held on Feb. 13. The event, which helped raise awareness of breast cancer, included a bake sale and 50/50 raffle, admissions from the men’s and women’s Roadrunner basketball games and a silent auction of donated sports memorabilia, gift certificates and items from area merchants.
