VFW helps Wounded Warriors with pie auction

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 convinced Latisha Koetting, veterans page editor at the Sedalia Democrat, to make her very first pie for their auction to benefit the Wounded Warriors. This is a picture of her Almost Better Than a Vet pie.

Larry Stevenson and his wife, Mary, cut and serve Latisha Koetting's "Almost Better Than a Pie" pie at an auction held Sunday at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591. In the background, Larry Brooks takes a peek. This was the first pie Koetting ever made.
