Dr. Clark K. Fobian, owner/practioner at Thompson Hills Animal Clinic in Sedalia, was inducted into the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation’s (MVMF) Veterinary Honor Roll. The ceremony, attended by family, friends and colleagues, was held April 27 in Jefferson City.
The honor is given to Missouri Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) member veterinarians who have demonstrated leadership in their community and/or profession. They are sponsored by a current MVMA member and have been approved for the honor by the MVMF board.
Dr. Fobian has more than 30 years of experience as a mixed and small animal veterinarian. He served for four years as an associate veterinarian at mixed animal practices in Nevada and Marshall before starting the Thompson Hills Animal Clinic in 1981.
He has had an active role in the MVMA, including serving as its president in 2003 and chairman of the board. He has participated in lobbying efforts on issues important to the MVMA before the state legislature, and he also has been an active member of the MVMA Legislative Committee, Guardianship Task Force and Veterinary News Network Task Force, and he is chairman of the Scope of Practice Task Force.
