Pemberton receives recognition

Mike Pemberton, a maintenance worker at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, was honored Dec. 22 as the Missouri Veterans Commission employee of the month.
Pemberton competed against 1,750 colleagues statewide, and won for his performance, troubleshooting ideas, and level of care, concern and respect for residents.
