She was born Feb. 8, 1906, in Nebraska. She was married to Roy Hornecker, who died earlier.
She was raised in Oregon. She was a bookkeeper at a car dealership. She enjoys watching television, taking rides in the country and entertainment events.
Mabel Zimmerschied, of Sedalia, will observe her 94th birthday on Feb. 10.
She was born Feb. 10, 1914, in Iowa. She was married to Raymond Zimmerschied, who died earlier.
She was a housewife. She loves going to garage sales and visiting with friends and family. She also likes animals.
She has two children, Ramona Zimmerschied and Mike Zimmerschied, both of Sedalia.
Anna Bluhm, of Sedalia, will observe her 86th birthday on Feb. 11.
She was born Feb. 11, 1922, in California, Mo. She was married to John Bluhm, who died earlier.
She owned a dairy farm with her husband. She enjoys listening to the radio, visiting and dancing.
She has two children, Dr. Fred Bluhm and Cheryl Bluhm, both of Sedalia; and two grandchildren.
Rosie Sieving, of Sedalia, will observe her 89th birthday on Feb. 18.
She was born Feb. 18, 1919, in Benton County.
She was a factory worker. She enjoys visiting with friends and taking rides in the country.
Juanita Strader, of Sedalia, will observe her 90th birthday on Feb. 20.
She was born Feb. 20, 1918, in Pettis County. She was married to Ralph Strader, who died earlier.
She worked at Jupiter, Montgomery Wards and Dr. Drennonís office. She worked part-time at Taystee Bread Store. She enjoys making afghans and quilts, traveling and playing the piano and organ. She is a lifelong member of First Baptist Church.
She has two children, Linda Morris, of Sedalia, and Ralph Strader Jr., of Jefferson City; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Opal Perkins, of Sedalia, will observe her 85th birthday on Feb. 22
She was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Mannford, Okla. She was married to Lawrence Perkins, who died earlier.
She was a private duty nurseís aide. She enjoys reading, doing word and jigsaw puzzles and visiting with friends and family. She used to enjoy sewing, quilting and doing embroidery.
She has five children, Henry Perkins, of Pilot Grove, Mary Grother, of Sedalia, Danny Perkins, of Linn, Ray Perkins, of Cole Camp, and Larry Perkins, of Westville, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
