Jennifer Lee Boedeker, of Malta Bend, and Clint Lewis Guier, of Sweet Springs, were married at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Marshall.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry Boedeker, of Malta Bend, and Dianna Fitzgerald, of Napton. The groom is the son of Dean and Paula Guier, of Sweet Springs.
The Rev. Bob Stewart conducted the ceremony. Sarah Schulenburg played the piano and organ. Eric Milligan played the guitar and was a vocalist. Alan Criswell played the trumpet.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Julie Summers was the maid of honor. Kyle Schuster, Tricia O’Brien, Beth Mayes, Abrea Boedeker, sister-in-law of the bride, Kristal Arnold, sister of the groom, and Bethanie Miller, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Linzi Boedeker, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Stephanie Malter was a candlelighter.
Gregory Guier, brother of the groom, was the best man. Jeremy Boedeker and Cale Boedeker, brothers of the bride, Troy Steinkuhler, Van Malter, Cody Milsap and Todd Black were groomsmen. Garrett Boedeker, nephew of the bride, and Logan Guier, nephew of the groom, were ring bearers. Matt Guier and Brent Guier, cousins of the groom, Jeff Michael and Jon Yokely were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents Aug. 3 at the church. The reception was at Gauldin Lake in Malta Bend.
The bride, a 2000 graduate of Malta Bend High School, received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. She works for the Columbia Public School System.
The groom, a 2000 graduate of Sweet Springs High School, received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from MU in 2004. He is a senior consultant for Barnes Insurance Group in Columbia.
The couple took a honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. They live in Columbia.
