Jennifer Lee Lankard and Scott Wayne Hopkins, both of Blue Springs were married at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 2007, at Woods Chapel Church in Lee’s Summit.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Linda Lankard, of Blue Springs. She is the granddaughter of Alice Fry, of Blue Springs. The groom is the son of Dave and Diane Hopkins and Terry Hopkins, all of Sedalia. He is the grandson of Bud and Nadine Hopkins and Joy Bryant, all of Sedalia.
The Rev. Clay Withers conducted the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Amy Deane was the matron of honor. Gina Spease and Kristy Berger were bridesmaids. Harley Lankard, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Stacey Lankard, sister-in-law of the bride, and Tammy Hankins, sister of the groom, were candlelighters.
Eric Whittall, cousin of the groom, was the best man. Darryl Ehlers and Matt Hood were groomsmen. Aiden Hopkins, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Brian Lankard, brother of the bride, and Tyler Hankins, nephew of the groom, were ushers. Austin Minturn, nephew of the bride, and Ryan Hankins, nephew of the groom, were program and guestbook attendants.
The reception was at The Arrowhead Club in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
The couple took a honeymoon to Jamaica. They live in Blue Springs.
