Nevelle Doogs turns 81

Nevelle Jean Doogs, of Sedalia, will celebrate her 81st birthday with a card shower.

She was born April 5, 1927, in Florence, the youngest of nine children to Frank and Adeline Brauer Page. She is married to Martin Doogs.

She was a nurse’s aide at Bothwell Regional Health Center for 20 years, before she retired. She sold Avon products.

She has five children, Nancy Sparks, Frank Doogs and Mary Denny, all of Sedalia, Linda Hesse, of Cole Camp, and the late Jimmie Doogs; 13 grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter; and 19 great-grandchildren.
