An investigation into ecstasy trafficking led to a Knob Noster man’s arrest.

Brendan A. Beasley has been charged in Pettis County Circuit Court with felony counts of second-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. He is in custody at the Pettis County Jail on a $75,000 bond, cash or surety.

Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force detectives opened an investigation on April 3 into the transport of large amounts of ecstasy into Pettis County, according to a press release from Sheriff Kevin Bond. After further investigation and surveillance, the task force partnered with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office to arrest Beasley, who was reportedly found in possession of the drugs.

Beasley’s attorney, Lance A. Riddle, entered a court appearance for April 16 and scheduled a bond reduction hearing for Tuesday.
