SpoFest will present a “Doomsday” poetry reading event, with former Missouri Poet Laureate Walter Bargen as the featured reader, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the lobby of the Liberty Center, 111 W. Fifth St. in Sedalia.
Readers from the Sedalia, Warrensburg and Warsaw areas scheduled to perform are Alyssa Anderson, Connie Koch, Jerry Pirtle, Debbie Noland, Rose Marie Kinder, Tony Shaffer, Mary Ann Bedwell, Faith Bemiss and Mike Todd.
