The University of Central Missouri Performing Arts Series will present veteran Hollywood actor and playwright John Amos in his one-man show, “Halley’s Comet,” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 in Hendricks Hall on the Warrensburg campus.
In his 19th season of a world tour, Amos transforms himself into his 87-year-old main character who shares the memories of a lifetime with the comet he first saw as an 11-year-old boy. He returns to the mountaintop where he first met the comet, explaining to his old friend that “things have changed since the last time you passed this way.”
