Pilot Grove artist and State Fair Community College student Keith Young will meet the public from 5 to 8 p.m. July 27 during a “Piknik at the Zuzak” at the Zuzak Wonder Store, 311 Main St. in Boonville, four blocks from the SFCC branch campus.
Young, who studies at the Sedalia campus, works from materials at hand to create multi-layered explorations of influence and aspiration. His artworks reveal a struggle between small-town roots and urban dreams. Many pieces in the exhibit incorporate images of summer and inspired the reception’s theme.
