Askew Theatre, of Warrensburg, and the Liberty Center Association for the Arts will team up to present the live radio version of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at 4 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Liberty Center, 111 W. Fifth St. in Sedalia.

Admission to the event will be a non-perishable food item. The items will be donated to the Sedalia Open Door Food Pantry and the Warrensburg Food Bank.

The show will feature Chris Clark as Scrooge, Rick Langdon as the narrator, and the Pizzazz Choir from Parkview Elementary.

“A Christmas Carol” is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a sour and stingy man, and how he is changed by supernatural visits from four ghosts who teach him the meaning of Christmas and the effects his life has on others. Carl Hutcherson, of Askew Theatre, will direct.
