State Fair Community College has announced the 2012-13 Theatre Arts awards and productions planned for its 2013-14 theatre season.

Students honored include:

• Courtney Rigdon, of Sedalia, best overall contribution to the Theatre Arts program and best contribution to children’s theater.

• Heather Hill, of Versailles, Studio Theatre award.

• Kacy Barta, of Monett, most improved over SFCC career.

• Mary Conlin, of Willow Springs, best supporting actor in a female role (Sandrine, Marcy and Rhonda in “Almost Maine”).

• Shaun Dickmeyer, of Lexington, best supporting actor in a male role (Robert in “Proof”).

• Laramie Ellis, of Monett, best actor in a female role (Catherine in “Proof”).

• Zach Craft, of Butler, best actor in a male role (Harry Witherspoon in “Lucky Stiff”).

• Molly Cline, of Boonville, best contribution to the front of the house.

• Tyler Newsom, of Warsaw, best contribution to the scene shop.

• Jessica Borchardt, of Sedalia, best contribution to the costume shop.

Craft received the Ron Wineinger Endowed Scholarship; Conlin received the Greta Schulz Evans Endowed Scholarship; and Rachel Walton, of Sedalia, received the Barbara and Jim Cooney Endowed Scholarship.

The 2013-14 Theatre Arts productions will include:

• Improv Comedy Nights, Oct. 5, Nov. 2, April 12 and May 10.

• “Boeing-Boeing,” Oct. 9-13.

• Studio Theatre One-Act, “This is Not a Pipe Dream,” Oct. 24-25.

• Children’s show, “How I Became a Pirate,” Nov. 18-23.

• Studio Theatre production, “Talley’s Folly,” Feb. 26 through March 2.

• Spring musical, “Young Frankenstein,” April 23-27.

• Student Theatre Showcase, May 8-9.
