S-C show choirs notch Best Ballad and pair of 2nd-place finishes

Smith-Cotton’s show choirs won three awards at Saturday’s Show Choir Festival at State Fair Community College. Cabaret took second place in its division and New Score took Best Ballad and second place in its division.

Also competing were show choirs from Cole Camp, Green Ridge, Knob Noster, Lincoln, Smithton and Stover. Full results were not reported.

Next, Smith-Cotton’s show choirs will compete on Saturday at Rock Bridge High School, on Jan. 21 at Pleasant Hill High School, on Feb. 11 at Harrisonville High School, on Feb. 25 at Carthage High School and on March 3 at the Smith-Cotton Show Me Classic.
