Young contest winners crowned at Smithton Fair

Smithton Fair held a baby contest, prince and princess contest and king and queen contest on July 12.

Judges were Matt Borland, insurance representative with Modern Woodmen of America; Kelly O’Brien, co-owner and operator of Utopia Salon and Tanning; Misty Hoehns, owner of Red Barns Photography; and Jessica Carruthers, student and loan officer with Courtesy Loans.

Baby Contest
0 to 6 months: Kaiden Newland, of Smithton, child of Steven and Miranda Newland, first; Tyler Morgan, of Sedalia, child of Shane and Janette Morgan, second; Madison Sprinkle, of Sedalia, child of Tami and Larry Sprinkle, third.

7 to 12 months: Cohen Jones, of La Monte, child of Hillary Jones, first; Grayson Vaughan, of Sedalia, child of Kory and Janice Vaughan, second; Cheyenne Coonce, of Sedalia, child of Leroy and Samantha Coonce, third.
