Missouri State Fair Idol hopefuls competing for coveted spot on Bud Stage

Jessica Staus, 23, of Sedalia, performs at a Missouri State Fair Idol qualifying competition on Friday at Dickie-Doo Bar-B-Que in Sedalia. The certified nursing assistant was hoping to be among the 50 to 60 singers who will compete on Budweiser Stage at the state fair starting on Aug. 11.
