Cole Camp to host zucchini races

Cole Camp will host its second annual zucchini race and parade on July 26. Registration will begin at 2 p.m. by the Maple Street Cafe and Bakery.

The parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will end at 4K Cheese and Meat.

The rules for the races require that the axles pass through the body of the zucchini. The maximum width of the race zucchini is 11 inches due to race track restrictions. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest zucchini, best decorated zucchini racer (does not need to race) and largest zucchini.
