Pettis county winners from MSF fine arts, horse shows

Here are the Pettis County results from the 4-H and FFA horse shows that took place July 26:



Ethan Filetti, of Green Ridge, received awards in these categories: Western pleasure, all ages, first place, dark blue rosette, small plaque; Western pleasure, 12 and younger saddle type, first place, dark blue rosette, small plaque; horsemanship, 12 and younger, saddle type, second place, red rosette; fifth place, pink rosette; Western pleasure.



•Kendra Rieckhoff, of Hughesville, Western pleasure, 13 & 14 (quarter type), fifth place, pink rosette.



•Zachary Amos, of Sedalia, horsemanship all ages, ponies, first place dark blue rosette, small plaque; pony equitation class, all ages, third place, yellow rosette.



Here are the Pettis County results from the Missouri State Fair Fine Arts competition:



•Charles L. Applequist, of Sedalia, won first money in the amateur division for “Lonesome Cowboy” in colored pen.



•Erin Simon, of Sedalia, won first money for “Silly Sisters” in the amateur division.



•Troy D. Ives, of Sedalia, received first money in the open professional division for “Hi Lonesome.” in the open professional division.



•Cheri Heeren, of Sedalia, received first money for “Sister Magic” in the photography division.



•Janice Hargrave, of Sedalia, received first money in the photo division.



•Ashley Wendt, of Sedalia, received first money in the photo division.
