Paint Horse Show

Hanah Eberspacher, of Beaver Crossing, Neb., is among the riders who took advantage of a break in the competition Saturday at the Missouri Paint Horse Club's Show Me Classic Labor Day Paint-o-Ramas, to exercise her Paint gelding, Scenic Pretty Boy, in the Coliseum Building at the fairgrounds. It is the girl's first time attending the Missouri show. Although there were close to a hundred horses registered for competition on Saturday, the first day of the three-day show, the "attendance numbers are down from last year," said Julie Engelbrecht, the show's secretary. "Usually this is a really big show," she said.
