Starline Your Best Cobble contest winner

Six-year-old Carson Price of Marshall, standing with State Fair Commissioner Sherry Jones, took home a red ribbon for his fried apple cobbler in the youth division in the Starline Your Best Cobble Contest on Tuesday.

Laureate Beta Zeta Chocolate Chip Cookie contest - 2nd place

Beth McDowell and her daughter Madelyn 8, of Kansas City, placed second in Tuesday's Laureate Beta Zeta Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest, for their "O'Mama I'll have Another" cookies made with Ovaltine.

Best of Show

Megan (Roe) White, center, of Cole Camp, won first place Thursday in the cream pie category and also best of show for her Hawaiian Delight pie in the Missouri First Lady's Pie Contest at the Missouri State Fair.
