It was Halloween night, and I saw a dark shadow moving on the wall. I got scared and ran to my mom and she said, “Let’s see.” We went back in my room and looked and it was only my dad’s black Harley shirt hanging on the bathroom door. It was blowing in the wind from the ceiling fan.

Late one night my mom thought she heard a creepy noise coming from the attic. Then all of us heard it. My mom took the broom handle and hit the ceiling and it quit.

I think Halloween is fun. I get a lot of zombie candy from my granny. She is a lot of fun. She gives me lot of it. That’s why she is so awesome! I get a lot of candy from other people too. But my granny gives me the most. And that’s why she is so awesome.

Once there was a farm named Pumpkinville because of all the many thousands of pumpkins grown there. Two of them were called Rae and Clinton.

There was a spooky house at the edge of town. It was rumored to be haunted with a ghost living in it. I went in it, it felt very spooky. I went in it I almost fainted as I walked in the door.  Emma and my sister went in it too. We all saw the ghost standing in the window. I was freaked-out, but we solved the mystery. It wasn’t a ghost at all.  It was only a sheet blowing in the breeze.

Once there was a girl her name was Lanna. She was mean and she laughed at people when they fell. That night she fell and the people started laughing at her. They laughed very loud. That night she met her new friends named was Elizabeth, Wyatt and Shy.  Before that night she didn’t have many friends because she was so mean to people. Now people are starting to like her because she doesn’t hurt others feelings anymore.

The scary monster lived in town. The monster scared a lady and had her for dinner, but her nose was too long so he threw it away. Big Joe Jon was so big that he wasn’t scared of that monster. So the monster begged Big Joe Jon to go away, but Big Joe Jon laughed at the monster. So big Joe Jon and the big monster got in a big fight and Big Joe Jon won.

Once there was a lady who was invisible. So when you drove through her she picked up your car. She would throw it. When the cops came she hid in the ditch so she did not get caught. When the cops left she went to a castle and she stayed there until the next night. When she came out, she went in the middle of the highway again. A car came and this time she smashed the car like and ant.

The house is a monster. The house eats people and cars. It is alive. It can walk. It has a long tongue like a frog. It can eat anything. Its arms and legs are as big as trees. It can bring the trees right out of the ground with one yank.
