Army Pvt. Chazz N. Newbill and Army National Guard Pvt. Coley R. Fonke have graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
Newbill is the son of Carmen Johnson, of Independence, and Edward Newbill, of Sedalia. He is a 2009 graduate of Marshall High School.
