There is no way to adequately describe the efforts which Meg Liston made to complete the Amtrak depot project. She coordinated the requirements of state and federal agencies as well as the Union Pacific railroad.
Dealing with the former two agencies is very frustrating; the railroad bureaucracy, however, sets new standards for unresponsiveness. But Meg persevered and, to her credit, we now have an excellent multi-use facility.
