I am writing with a huge concern about the first day at Liberty Park Pool. I think it’s completely sad that my 11-year old-daughter, who was so excited to attend the pool, was in tears when I arrived to pick her up. Someone had stolen her bag of belongings with her clothes and phone inside.
Walking out of the pool, I heard another kid say someone took his stuff as well. Really — how upsetting that you cannot go to the pool these days without wondering who is going to steal your personal belongings. Since things are this bad, maybe cameras should be installed. My daughter will not go there again, all due to the fact that she goes there to have fun, to swim, and instead leaves there feeling sad and hurt.
