This is in regard to the comment in the Sept. 27 Sedline: People who draw disability checks are doing so because they were injured while working. Therefore, they are entitled to receive their worker’s compensation until their injury has healed and they have a written release to go back to work from a doctor. They are not being given anything.
The people who receive a check from the Social Security Administration after they retire from working are entitled to do so. They are receiving the money they earned and placed in the keeping of the Social Security Administration every week of their working lives. They are not being given anything.
