It’s amazing how middle-class Americans continue to vote for and support politicians who time after time vote against the economic interest of the overwhelming majority of American citizens.
The top 2 percent of our population are doing very well and have been over the past three decades while wages for the rest have seen very little upward movement and, for the most part, remained stagnant. A majority of Americans favor letting the temporary tax cuts for the top 2 percent expire while 98 percent stay at the current rate.
