In a recent commentary, Rose Nolen complained about those who want to require photo IDs to ensure that those voting are who they claim to be. A photo identification card is required for many things — driving, cashing a check, opening a credit account, buying alcohol and cigarettes, the list goes on. I believe the Missouri Voter ID law would have paid for the ID cards for those who could not afford them.
