Thank you, Reps. Vicky Hartzler and Todd Akin, for your support of our military (“Sequestration would undermine military,” July 23). Yes, everyone in Congress has an agenda — this being something they promised their district voters when they ran for office.
The safety of our nation has to be at the very top with all. The common plea is to cut anything and everything except what benefits my district. Nothing fits each and every district more than national defense. Where do you cut? I honestly do not know.
