It takes a special group of men who would agree to cook lunch for 190 people, but that is exactly what 12 generous leaders of our community did in helping to make the 2012 United Way kickoff a big success on Aug. 30. Thank you to our celebrity chefs Russ Foote, Bob Holem, Tom Horn, Sam Jones, John Kehde, Randy Lee, Jeff McKinney, Bob Satnan, Todd Selck, Ray Smith, Dr. Josh Valtos and Jim Van Horn.
The United Way kickoff brought our business community and our United Way agencies together to hear the goal set for this year’s campaign ($575,000) and to receive campaign materials with the theme ‘A Little U Goes A Long Way.”
