Letter: TV, video games are to blame

Posted: Monday, December 17, 2012 10:30 pm | Updated: 4:24 pm, Tue Dec 18, 2012.

With the shootings that happened in Connecticut, everyone is talking about gun control. Why can’t people realize that the problem is the video games and all the junk that is allowed to be seen on TV? Let’s not take away guns. Let’s bring back discipline and lose the video games. Change what is allowed on TV. I see it all the time in Walmart and other places, kids being allowed to act like monsters because parents are afraid to take care of the problem because they don’t want to get arrested. I’m not saying beat children, but allow some discipline to return. I don’t understand why it seems to be so hard to understand what the problem really is.
