On the Nov. 13 Opinion page, Bill Gordon had a guest commentary. I did not get past the second paragraph. I quote, “America remains and will always be a democracy.”
I would recommend Gordon read the Constitution again. Article IV, Section 4, might change people’s take on this country being a democracy. It’s as Benjamin Franklin told a citizen after the convention of 1787: “We have given you a representative form of a republic.” He paused and said, “If you can keep it.”
