Fairfax receives promotion

Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Fairfax was recently promoted to chief warrant officer 5. He has accepted the full-time position of commander of Detachment 32 with the California National Guard in Mather, Calif.

This is the fixed-wing flight detachment supporting the state. Fairfax is a 1982 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. His wife, Karen, and his children, Caitlyn and Brandon, live in Corona, Calif.
