Legion names oratorical contest winners

Alyssa Durrill, of Northwest High School, and Jesse Carroll, of Sacred Heart High School, were named the winners of the American Legion, Pettis County Oratorical Scholarship Contest.

Alyssa competed in the 7th District contest on Jan. 6 in Concordia and won. She will later compete at the Zone 2 contest.
