Staff Sgt. Lukas Bartels, 509th Bomb Wing chaplain assistant, prepares for communion prior to a Protestant worship service at the Whiteman AFB Chapel. Bartels returned from his six-month deployment to Al Dhafra Air Base in United Arab Emirates, July 12, where he performed Sunday services, weekly set-ups and unit visitations.
