Green Ridge man injured after hitting deer

A Green Ridge man was ejected from his vehicle after hitting a deer Friday night in Pettis County.


Daniel L. Piscopo, 35, was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.


The accident occurred at 11:30 p.m. as Piscopo was westbound on Highway B just east of Lake Road near Green Ridge. Piscopo’s vehicle hit a deer in the road and overturned, ejecting Piscopo, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. 


Piscopo was wearing a seat belt, the report states.
