La Monte student killed in Texas crash

A La Monte Elementary School student was killed in a vehicle accident in Texas.
Isabel Ochoa, a third-grade student, was killed and Ruby Meza, a second-grade student at La Monte, suffered injuries in the accident, according to La Monte Elementary School Principal Elizabeth Wilkerson.
Messages left with the Texas Highway Patrol were not returned as of late Wednesday afternoon.
