Two injured in Johnson County accident

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident in Johnson County Friday.
Lois E. Young, 57, of Grain Valley and Dorothy Stuart, 42, of Knob Noster, were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
The hospital does not release patient information.
The accident occurred at 2:40 p.m. as Stuart was westbound on MO-23 near Route E in Knob Noster. Her vehicle crossed the center line and hit the eastbound vehicle driven by Young. Stuart’s vehicle then hit a second vehicle driven by Randy W. Paul, 49, of Concordia.
Stuart was issued a summons fro careless and imprudent driving and failing to maintain in a single lane, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
