Three Warrensburg residents injured in accident

Three Warrensburg residents were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by ambulance Friday following an accident on state Route 13 in Johnson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Web site.

There was no information available from the hospital on the conditions of Amanda S. Harley, 19, Michael A. Lawrence, 32, and Jaylie C. Lawrence, 1.

The three-car accident occurred around 6 p.m. on the highway near county Route Southeast 250. Vehicles driven by Michael A. Lawrence and

Richard D. Wagner, 50, of Carrolton, Tex., were stopped in traffic. Hawley’s vehicle hit Lawrence’s vehicle, which then hit Wagner’s vehicle.
Hawley was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving, reports state.
