Judge hears Pettis criminal cases

Pettis County Circuit Court Judge Robert L. Koffman heard these cases Monday, according to Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Mittelhauser:

•Joshua Bridges, 18, of Sedalia, pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon. He admitted that on Nov. 16 he threatened his mother with a wooden club and demanded money. The prosecuting attorney recommended a one year jail sentence; sentencing was set for Jan. 22.
