The community supports the United Way and the agencies it supports with donations each year. Now people can hear how each agency uses the funding to help the community.
A change in the way program hearings are held makes it easier for community members to participate in the agency review process and learn more about how the United Way serves those in need.
The hearings begin at 6 p.m. this evening in the board room of the William Hopkins Building at State Fair Community College, 3201 W. 16th St.
The hearings will continue Wednesday and May 5 and May 6.
