Council to get bond project update

Posted: Sunday, November 18, 2012 10:53 pm

During its meeting today, the Sedalia City Council will get an update on several projects slated to be funded through a $7.2 million bond.

The money will pay for the repair of the Washington Avenue bridge, which was closed nearly a year ago after being found structurally unsound; building a new fire station to replace Fire Station No. 2 on West 16th Street; and the repair of the Sedalia Public Library, which closed in August due to structural concerns.
