County hosts swearing-in ceremony for incumbents, new faces

The transition of power was on full display Monday as newly elected and re-elected Pettis County officers were sworn in to new terms of office.

Pettis County Clerk Nick La Strada administered oaths of office to eastern commissioner Brent Hampy, western commissioner Jim Marcum, sheriff Kevin Bond, public administrator Charli Ackerman, assessor Karissa Logan, treasurer Kim Lyne, and surveyor Kerry Turpin were all sworn in during the Monday morning ceremony at Pettis County Courthouse.
