A Windsor man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday in Pettis County.

Leroy E. Harms, 82, was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 8:38 a.m. as Harms was southbound on U.S. Highway 65 just north of Flat Creek.

Harms was attempting to make a left turn and failed to yield to a northbound vehicle driven by Tiffany M. Siercks, 18, of Warsaw. Harms’ vehicle hit Siercks’ vehicle, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Harms was not wearing a seat belt, the report states.
